***UPDATED***Sorry for the trouble*** UPDATED*** Well... We all did have a great time of our lives didn't we! Hah. So... here are the happy times i captured! Please enjoy! Although i took the videos, i have also tried to include myself cause everytime, i always like not found in pictures and videos. Thank you Miss Cai who helped me to take photos. They are very nice indeed! The reason why the pictures and videos are in a clip is because there are too many pictures and videos that i had to like put them in a clip if not, it'll take me forever to post it in blogger.

Hello again!
Sorry I haven't taken time to post in our class blog, I think everyone's bogged down with work. Hope you all enjoyed your service learning! Thanks Junyuan for posting the photos, you all look so cheery!
I remembered doing SLP when I was in secondary school. It was around the lower delta area and we had to go there ourselves to earn SLP hours. Basically, we signed up for different SLP slots and make our way there on our Saturdays. There were a few memorable trips to the elderly @delta and children at KK hospital. We positioned at the void deck with different food items and the elderly will line up and pick up various food items at the stations. They opened their big red plastic bags and we slotted the daily necessities, which consisted of maggie mee, canned food, a small bag of rice, fresh leafy veggies and biscuits. I felt quite sad that they had so little to eat and suddenly i felt really fortunate. The SLP ended after the hse to hse delivery. I think it really opened up my perspectives.
ANother SLP i had was to the children's ward at KK hospital. I vaguely remember what i did, but one of my friends wore this chicken mascot and cheered the children there. It was fun thinking of the bits of school experience we had.
I'm really glad to see that most of you enjoyed being there with your classmates because these are the memories you'll bring with you when u graduate and move along different paths. It'll be sweet if our blog's still ard in yrs to come :)

I've updated the deadlines for the project... I know some groups are kinda lost. These are the projects, I know one group has chosen something else from the list so you can update my list here:
1. Psychological defence: compile a set of photographs/ picture of our national symbols (at least 3), accompanied by a short write-up of their significance.
2. Psychological defence: compile a set of photographs/ picture of our national landmarks (at least 3), accompanied by a short write-up of their significance. Nigel's GROUP
3. Social defence: compile a set of 'dos' and 'don'ts' for the customs of our ethnic groups (at least 3 for each group chosen) Amalina's GROUP 4. Social defence: Produce a cassette tape on everyday phrases/greetings in 4 main languages (at least 5 phrases/greetings) Al- Emporio's GROUP
5. Economic defence: Compile a set of 5 newspaper clippings highlighting the importance of skills upgrading/retraining and lifelong learning. Matthew's GROUP 6.Economic defence:Design a brochure promoting IT courses for teenagers. Ifraq's GROUP
7. Social defence: Design a poster highlighting basic fire safety/prevention measures. Samantha's GROUP 8.Social defence:Design a guidebook on basic first aid skills. Theon's GROUP 9.Military defence:Compile a set of 5 newsoaoer clippings highlighting the importance of having a strong, capable defence force in Singapore Wailum's GROUP 10.Military defence:Your school wants to encourage pupils to exercise more and keep fit and healthy.
